Used to rejuvenate and combat scarring, enlarged pores, lines and wrinkles, non-elastic skin, sun damage, age spots, acne and eye bags
Micro-needle therapy is a multi-function skin therapy utilising an injectable device with multiple thin needles that gently penetrate the skin resulting in firmer, smoother and younger looking skin. This therapy is most commonly used to rejuvenate and combat scarring, enlarged pores, lines and wrinkles, non-elastic skin, sun damage, age spots and eye bags.
Any areas of the face, neck, chest and body can be treated and this is broken down into the following areas;
Acne scars before and after
Micro-needling in the Henley Clinic uses the most advanced and unique injection device “The Nanopore Stylus” This is moved over your skin vibrating up to 150 pulses per second and creating tiny punctures in the skin, the majority of which are just opening the pores. The skin perceives this as damage to itself and as a result stimulates collagen and elastin production and initiates a healing process and this ensures the body’s reaction to repair scars stretch marks, wrinkles etc
Most people are suitable for the treatment, this will be fully discussed at your consultation appointment
Micro-needling can be safely performed on all skin types and colours and there is no risk of hyperpigmentation as the melanocytes and epidermis stay intact during the procedure
Results can be seen after 6-8 weeks and these results still continuously improve over a longer period. Our skin heals itself approximately every 6 weeks so the micro-needling changes will be rapid. A course of treatments is generally recommended for best results but improvements are certainly seen after just one treatment.
Depending on skin condition, quality and extent of are to be treated the length of treatment times and number of required treatments may vary, although generally this is from 1 to 3 treatments. This will be fully discussed and agreed with you at your consultation appointment.
Fine lines before and after
Recovery time, discomfort and epidural (skin) trauma are minimal due to the adjustable needle depth and speed of the Stylus. No need for anaesthesia
Micro-needling is a very safe and effective procedure. Any minor side effects usually subside within 24-48 hours these may include erythema, stinging, itching and skin tightness.
Your skin may be red and slightly flushed post treatment, along with skin tightness and mild sensitivity, but this diminishes after a few hours and afte r one day the skin will be completely healed. We will give you aftercare instructions and tips following your treatment.
“THE NANOPORE STYLUS” micro-needling system, is strongly recommended to be used with “NANO TECH CHEMICAL PEELS” Combining these two important and unique treatments will ensure the Nano peels penetrate quickly and even deeper into the skin structure. This is due to the opening of the pores with the Nanopore stylus needling plus the Stylus stimulating the collagen to plump the skin and lift lines. The Unique “NANOPORE STYLUS 1” in combination with “NANO-TECH FACIAL PEELS

Stretch marks before and after
“I had my first visit to the Henley Clinic about 2 years ago, I am extremely happy with my treatments of CACI and Hydradermie. I also had Ultherapy under eye treatment about 6 months ago to eliminate those unsightly under eye lines and thrilled with the results. The specialist Sarah who treated me was lovely and explained the procedure in depth and what I could expect.The therapists and reception ladies are very friendly, professional and very helpful. I wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else.” Samantha *
